As an NRA Certified Rifle & Pistol instructor and RSO (you may email me for credential verification), I rely on inexpensive ammo. When I heard about the face-to-face requirement and online ordering being eliminated it really concerned me- not just as, yet, ANOTHER infringement on my 2nd Amendment right, but how I am going to reasonably afford ammo for students.  I teach them with 22LR.  As a reloader, I reload all my centerfire pistol calibers, but with 22LR being a rimfire, reloading just isn't feasible. Paying retail pricing sends per round costs through the roof.

After doing some research I found there was a way to still order online. No one I talked to knew how to do it, so I did the research and wrote the whole process down. Afterward, I gave the process to a few people and they ran through it. Response was that it was a simple step by step process and they avoided mistakes they know they would have made while going through the documents. All three had their DOJ certificate within a few days and the Federal License within 4-5 weeks.  All have placed online ammo orders without issue. *Currently, I'm being told that the DOJ Certificate takes about a month and the Federal License is taking 3 months.

I wanted to pass this on to everyone in CA so you can purchase ammo again at reasonable prices. There are also other benefits like an exemption from only being able to DROS 1 (modern) gun every 30 days.  *This works with both rifle, shotgun and pistol.
